What is a mystery shopper?
A mystery shopper visits businesses as an ordinary customer and shares honest feedback on the experience, service and environment. There's no acting required, just an eye for detail.
Is mystery shopping legitimate, or is it a scam?
It's a genuine, paid way to earn extra money. Serve First never charges a fee to register, and any agreed shopping costs are reimbursed. If an assignment asks you to pay upfront with no reimbursement agreed, that's not how we work.
Do I need any experience or qualifications?
No qualifications are needed. All it takes is attention to detail and a willingness to follow a brief. We guide you through everything.
Is there a cost to sign up?
No. Registering with Serve First is free, and it always will be.
Why do you need my bank details?
We require your sort code and account number in order to send payment to you for your completed report.
How much can I earn?
Payments range from £4 to £40 depending on the assignment, with reimbursement for agreed shopping costs.
Is mystery shopping a full-time job?
Most people fit it around other work or commitments. It's flexible, and you choose which assignments to take.
Can I complete assignments online?
Yes. Some assignments involve assessing websites, apps or online checkouts, alongside in-store visits.
